|Storing and Loading JAR Files in GemFire XD / Class Loading Overview|
When you create a JAR file for installation, include any Java classes that are intended for GemFire XD class loading. This might include stored procedure or result processor implementations, as well as supporting classes.
GemFire XD does not prevent you from storing these standard JAR files, but the classes are never loaded from the JAR file.
GemFire XD can load classes from any number of JAR files from any number of schemas.
Create JAR files intended for GemFire XD class loading in the same way that you would create a JAR file for including in a user's classpath. For example:
jar cf travelagent.jar travelagent/*.class
Use this option when you need only a small subset of the classes in the third-party JAR file.
Use this option when you need most or all of the classes in the third-party JAR file, because you can then upgrade your application and third-party logic independently of one another.
Use this option when the necessary classes are already installed on a user's computer.
